Happy Hump Day to all! 

In college I aspired to become a pediatrician, after much effort I realized this career was just not for me. Coming to terms with this was probably one of the hardest things I ever had to do. 

I consider myself a fighter, someone that will go through war for my passions and loved ones. But in the end I thank God for stiring me in a different direction, because if not I would not have the ability to participate in many of the events that now make my life more meaningful. I am beyond blessed to be able to participate in these prestigious gatherings as a first generation in America. 

I touch upon the subject of medicine because as a child I never questioned what the doctor prescribed. Now as an adult and Mom, I tend to gravitate to natural remedies, avoiding chemical based drugs whenever possible. I do understand that sometimes circumstances are beyond our control and there are no alternatives to modern medicine, but when I can I opt to go in the holistic route. 

I don't know if it was mere coincidence or divine intervention but as I was waiting around the halls I was approached by a gentleman. He began a dialogue with me and I learned he was an inventor of products/services. Here is a picture of me and Jerry Zarnekee. 

He later introduced me to his friend Ed Melliza who was doing coverage as media/photographer for the 2014 ExpoWest. 

I truly was glad to be able to join them in the press room and walk the show room and be able to see how they conducted business. 

One of the perks was being able to shake the hand of many founders that had prestigious products at the Expo. 

As we wondered the halls I realized that me and my son currently use the Similasan brand. They carry an array of products for better living. 

Their slogan feel good about feeling better entrust their audience about not putting any harmful toxins into their bodies while still ensuring a speedy recovery. 

Personally, I am a big fan of their eye drops line. Wearing contacts definitely has it's downfalls, looking good at the expense of dry eyes, red eyes and irritation is no fun!!! But I'm glad I can turn to products which are made with 100% Natural Active Ingredients. 

I love to use their cough medicine remedies for my two year old boy. They are effective and provide great results. 

Ezequiel has been suffering from mucus discharge and we have been using this  Similisan product to relieve his symptoms.

Wrapping all this up, there are so many healthy ways to improving your lifestyle choices. Start by choosing natural based products as you do less harm to your body doing so. 

Remember the healthier you are the less susceptible you become to sickness. Let's promote great health by choosing natural, organic, and plant based when possible!
